1. Who Can Use CueDirector
CueDirector is intended for use by schools, community theaters, and the individuals who support them — including teachers, volunteers, students, and tech directors. You must be 13 years of age or older to register for an account.
2. Free for Schools and Community Theaters
CueDirector is provided free of charge to K–12 schools and non-commercial community theater organizations. Commercial use requires a separate license. Contact us if you're unsure whether your use qualifies.
3. Licensed Content
CueDirector may support playback of audio and video assets licensed through third-party providers such as Music Theater International and Concord Theatrical. It is your responsibility to obtain all necessary performance and reproduction licenses for any content used in your production. CueDirector is a tool — it does not grant you rights to any scripts, music, or video content.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use CueDirector only for lawful purposes. You may not use the software to reproduce, distribute, or publicly perform copyrighted material without the appropriate licenses, reverse-engineer or modify the software, or misrepresent your organization's eligibility for free use.
5. No Warranty
CueDirector is provided "as is." We make no guarantees that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular production or purpose. Use it at your own risk — especially on show night.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the creators of CueDirector are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the software, including but not limited to missed cues, technical failures, or data loss.
7. Intellectual Property
CueDirector and its design, code, and documentation are the intellectual property of its creator. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
8. Updates and Changes
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of CueDirector after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
